Brian   has   worked   in   the   Civil   Engineering   and   Land   Surveying business   for   more   than   25   years.   Starting   as   a   draftsman   and chainman   Brian   worked   his   way   through   many   projects   from concept   to   completion   giving   him   good   solid   boiler   plate   to   build upon.    In    his    own    words    “I    have    been    very    fortunate    to    be mentored   by   James   G.   Bray.   During   my   tenure   with   Jim   there was    a    dramatic    change    in    technology;    we    went    from    hand drafting   (ink   on   mylar   and   lead   on   vellum)   to   computer-aided drafting   and   measuring   from   pulling   chain   to   distance   metering with   EDM’s   and   GPS.   Due   to   this   dramatic   change   I   decided   to attend   Oregon   Institute   of   Technology   and   in   2003   earned   a Bachelor   of   Science   degree   in   Geomatics.”   Currently   Brian   is   a Principal   of   E   &   S   Engineers   &   Surveyors,   Inc.   Brian   enjoys anything   to   do   with   the   outdoors,   including   gardening,   shooting, fishing and hunting.

Morgan   Eastlick,   a   Scott   Valley   native,   has   many   years   of   civil engineering   and   land   surveying   experience.   Morgan   received his    Bachelors    of    Science    degree    in    civil    engineering    from California   State   University,   Chico    in   1993.   Morgan   then   gained practical   building   experience   in   the   building   trades   throughout Siskiyou   County.   In   1998,   he   began   his   engineering   career   with James   G.   Bray   Civil   Engineering   located   in   Yreka,   California with   his   engineer-in-training   certification.   Morgan   worked   under James’   direction   until   he   obtained   his   license   as   Professional Engineer    in    January,    2002.    Morgan    is    currently    licensed    in California,    Oregon,    and    Nevada    and    a    Principal    of    E    &    S Engineers   &   Surveyor's,   Inc.   Morgan   serves   as   City   Engineer for   the   City   of   Dorris,   Etna,   Montague,   and   streets   engineer   for the   City   of   Weed.   During   his   engineering   career,   Morgan   has gained   a   great   deal   of   experience   in   public   contract   code   and developing project bid packages for the public bid process.

James   is   a   Siskiyou   County   native   who   resides   in   the   Shasta Valley,   Siskiyou   County.      James   began   working   out   of   our   Miner Street   office   for   Piemme   &   Bryan   in   1966.      He   then   served   for   4 years   with   the   U.S.   Air   Force,   380 th    Civil   Engineering   Sqdn..     Following    the    Air    Force,    James    attended    California    State University   Chico   where   he   graduated   with   honors   in   1975.      He then   returned   to   Siskiyou   County   and   began   work   with   Piemme &   Bryan   again.      During   his   tenure   with   Piemme   &   Bryan   he advanced   to   corporate   Vice   President.      James   then   decided   to begin   James   G.   Bray   Civil   Engineering   in   1981.      James   worked on    many    different    projects,    large    &    small    throughout    the    31 years   he   owned   and   operated   James   G.   Bray   Civil   Engineering.     On   September   1,   2011   Jim   sold   his   engineering   business   to   two of   his   longtime   employees,   Morgan   Eastlick   &   Brian   Smith.      Jim is currently enjoying his retirement.

José M. Hernandez Estrada
Engineer in training
José   attended   Gridley   High   School    where   he   graduated   top   of his   class   and   received   a   3   year   scholarship   from   the   National Science   Foundation   to   attend   CSU   Chico .      He   graduated   from CSU   Chico   in   the   spring   of   2014   with   a   Bachelor   of   Science   in Civil   Engineering.      During   his   time   at   Chico   he   was   a   member   of several     engineering     organizations     including     Tau     Beta     Pi Engineering    Honor    Society,    Golden    Key    International    Honor Society,   ASCE,   and   Latinos   in   Technical   Careers.      José   joined our   team   at   Bray   &   Associates   in   June   of   2014   as   an   Engineer in    Training    under    the    guidance    of    Morgan.        He    is    gaining experience    in    land    surveying,    public    contracts,    engineering design   and   CAD   drafting.      José   is   looking   forward   to   becoming licensed as a Civil Engineer in the State of California.
Wade DeDobbeleer

Wade   DeDobbeleer   started   his   surveying   career   in   2003   shortly after    High    school.    Never    attending    higher    education,    Wade chose    to    work    his    way    up    through    the    ranks    of    surveying starting   as   a   chainman.   He   enjoys   the   field   work   most   of   all   but is    passionate    about    surveying    in    it’s    entirety.    Wade    is    the epitome    of    a    technician,    from    automotive    to    electrical    to surveying,   He   enjoys   the   raw   work   of   many   trades.   In   his   spare time   wade   enjoys   outdoor   activities   that   have   anything   to   do with   bikes,   boards   or   vehicles,   along   with   camping,   hunting,   and hiking, making Siskiyou county the ideal place for Wade to live .
Selina K. Darger
Engineer in training
Selina    attended    4    years    of    college    at    Oregon    Institute    of Technology.   During   her   schooling   at   OIT   she   was   part   of   the Society   of   Women   Engineers   (SWE).   She   graduated   June   2017 with   a   Bachelor   of   Science   in   Civil   Engineering   and   a   Minor   in Math.   The   summer   before   graduating,   Selina   interned   with   our team   at   E&S   Engineers   and   Surveyors   Inc.   After   graduating, Selina    joined    us    as    an    Engineer    in    Training    under    the supervision     of     Morgan.     She     is     learning     land     surveying, engineering    design,    and    CAD    drafting.    Selina    is    working    to become a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California.
Trevor Eastlick
Engineering/Surveying Technician II
Trevor   was   part   of   the   U.S. Air   Force   as   a   helicopter   crew   chief for   7   years   where   he   served   overseas   and   completed   a   tour   in Afghanistan.   After   serving   our   country,   he   moved   back   to   his native   Siskiyou   County.   Currently,   he   is   a   senior   at   Southern Oregon    University    online    where    he    is    studying    business management.   He   is   happy   to   be   learning   land   surveying   and Computer-Aided   Drafting   here   at   E   &   S.   Trevor   states,   “It   is   a pleasure   to   learn   from   such   bright   and   dedicated   individuals   in an   office   that   continues   to   have   a   great   reputation   throughout the   county   for   exceptional   work.”   In   his   time   out   of   the   office Trevor enjoys being outside with this family.
